UACP Spam

Someone is trying to pump up the price of UACP. This was sent out with my one of domains names as the return address:

Tue, 14 Dec 2004 10:01:10 -0600

This was the date that was in the body of the original spam.

The stock seemed to have peaked at around 45 cents around December 20th.

Breaking News: uAuthorize Corp. Announces Upgrades in Web
Cam Watcher software ‚”UACP‚” currently trading at $0.30 and
is headed to $1.25 you do not want to miss this deal.

The company released ground breaking news about its VOIP
division! Although some would argue that VoIP is still
maturing, corporate users are extremely interested in
implementing the technology, creating exponential growth.
Within the last four years, VoIP minutes increased from
less than 0.5 to 2 percent of outbound international calls,
according to research from TeleGeography. Additionally,
predictions as to the size of the market itself vary, with
Allied Business Intelligence projecting the VoIP market
to grow from $3.7 billion in 2000 to $12.3 billion in 2006
and Synergy Research projecting the VoIP equipment market
to grow to $13.3 billion by 2005.

We Believe the Near Term Price will be – 1.25
We Believe the Long Term Price will be – 1.50

Notice they covered their butt by saying “they believe.” Question: who is meant by “we?” The anonymous person who is hoping to make some money by encouraging people to buy this stock.

Note: Our picks normally generate 200 to 400% grow with our
promotions this one is expected to be our highest one this year,
this week coming up.

So, this spam run is the last one they’re doing for this company this year? Which was over three weeks later.

UACP – uAuthorize

Information I’ve learned about UACP – uAuthorize.

Pay an extra fee for your domain name

You don’t mind paying an extra $1 or so on each domain name you register do you? Good. That’s what ICANN thinks too. ICANN is the group that oversees domain name policy. Read ICANN partying like it’s 1999 for more on the subject.

Me, I think it’s stupid to charge approximately 10% more for each domain name I register. And I’d love to know more about the 25 cent tax that they have already imposed.

Spammer Block-listed

I have added emarketing-us.com and emstool.com to my server’s blacklist. Good riddance.

iPhoto Improvement

iPhoto needs to be able to do subcategories (sub-albums). I have many albums related to family events, it would be great to be able to hide them when working on an album related to my Travel photos. So I could have 4 or 5 main Albums (Family, Friends, Travel, Work) and then have albums under those (under Family, have Christmas 2002, Thanksgiving 2003, Reunion 2003, Laura’s Birthday 2004, etc…).

They’re Back!

Well, uAuthorize.com is again faking my domain name in their spam. Later today I will continue my investigation into their network of fraud, deceit and lies.

Amazing, the spam stopped!

I posted a bunch of information about uAuthorize.com and their spam this morning around 10:30am (Eastern), and the last time stamp of the spam I received from them falsifying my domain on their messages was at 11:24am (Eastern). Coincidence? I don’t think so.

uAuthorize.com

The Pump and Dumper that is using my domain for their garbage is uAuthorize.com. For more on their business, see my new web page dedicated to them: http://www.planetmike.com/spammers/uauthorize.com/.

Don’t fall for Penny Stock Fraud!

Some loser is using fake planetmike.com email addresses to send out their “Pump and dump” scam emails touting some small company’s marketing. A good article to read is The Internet opens up a new avenue for penny stock fraud at the SFGate.

This is the second time in the past couple months this loser has used my domain to try to make a quick buck off of spam. I have filed a complaint with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission.
