Mike Clark was born on a rainy night in Georgia. No, that’s not right. Sorry about that. I was born on October 20, 1968 in Newport News, Virginia. I lived in Newport News though high school. I graduated from Denbigh High School in June 1986.
After high school I left home to attend school at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Virginia. While I did come home during the summers, eventually I decided to make my home in Blacksburg. I had an interesting time in Blacksburg and would not change any of the things I experienced there. Between school, churches, various jobs, and relationships, I grew up a lot. Most of my closest friends to this day are the friends I made in Blacksburg.
I met my wonderful wife, Laura, at Glade Baptist Church in Blacksburg. In the summer of 1999, we moved to Northern Virginia so that I could complete my Master’s program in Public Administration. I am now self-employed as a blogger, writing about theater, Christmas music, and technology. I am active at Occoquan Bible Church.
Life is definitely interesting. While the life I am leading may not be one I would have chosen, it is definitely not one I would trade either.
